On May 27, 2007 there will be host to a Statewide Prayer Gathering. This will be a time for all the Churches within Connecticut to come together and seek the Lord God as one.

Come join your brothers and sisters as we assemble together to pray and seek the Lord for the state of Connecticut. Connecticut has one of the lowest percentages of believing Christians in the nation. Although we have a rich history of Christian love and service, today our legacy is of economic wealth, poor cities, liberal educational institutions and moral decline. The youth of today are bombarded with the darkness of the world and many are succumbing to overwhelming temptations and bondage. Now is the time to put aside our differences and come together in unity to seek and call upon our one Lord, by His one Holy Spirit, and ask Him to heal our land.

The Word of God promises, and history confirms, that the Lord brings revival and community transformation when His people come together to seek Him, pray and repent. And this is what we will do on this historic day in June - seek, pray, repent.
